辅导

Spring tutoring will be available starting on 周一, February 5. Peer tutoring is available to Drake students at no charge. 辅导 is most beneficial for students who are actively participating in classes. 辅导 is not intended to be a substitute for consistent class attendance. The availability of in-person 和 virtual tutoring will vary by subject 和 can be confirmed in Starfish when you schedule your appointment.

Speaking Center

Speaking Center tutors have experience 和 training in speech pedagogy 和 are prepared to assist students when selecting 和 narrowing topics, organizing ideas, drafting 和 revising an outline, preparing visual aids, 和 practicing delivery. The Speaking Center’s staff also facilitates access to re搜索和 resources that can help speakers 和 presenters.A variety of tutoring appointments are available between the hours of 10:00 am 和 10:00 pm, 周一-Friday.

Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes each, 和 students are encouraged to schedule multiple times while preparing for a single event if they wish. Writing Center

The Writing Center is a tutoring center to help you with your many writing needs. If you are working on an essay, report, or re搜索 paper, the Writing Center can help. The Writing Center is directed by a faculty member 和 staffed by undergraduate students who are trained to tutor. They are also experienced writers 和 friendly critics. You may visit a tutor by appointment or establish a time to meet a tutor on a regular basis.
